Jeanine Payer brings a love of sculpture, drawing and poetry to her pieces, which are all crafted in her atelier in San Francisco. The words, hand-engraved in a scaled-down version of her own script, endow her jewelry with a kind of magic; every object takes on the power of a talisman.
It is normal for engraving to wear slightly over time. Clean tarnish using a soft felt polishing cloth.
Two poetry options:
"What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us" -Emerson
"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes." -Proust
