Lovely fragrance, reeds are not brown

Saijo Persimmon is a wonderful fragrance. There is quite a bit in this bottle, and I personally believe you do not need to put as much as is instructed into the diffuser to get a great scent going. Little misleading, is the colour of the reeds. The ones here are brown, the ones I received are whitish. I was hoping for brown.
