Please follow strict refilling instructions for optimum performance. Only refill when lighter is empty. Lighter and butane canister must be pointed toward ground. If pointed up, air instead of gas will be injected into the lighter causing air bubbles and inconsistent ignitions. Fit butane canister's pin valve into lighter's intake valve and push firmly for 8 seconds. Butane gas will be injected into the lighter's chamber. Finished! Wait 30 seconds before lighting. Do not take apart lighter.
2. If attempted refill had butane canister pointed up, it is necessary to "burp" the lighter and release unwanted air. Use a pointed object to push in the lighter's pin valve. Point the bottom of lighter up, push in valve and gas will be ejected. Point away from eyes and any other flame. After burping, refill correctly.
